SherrySherry Budziak, President and Lead Consultant

Sherry is a recognized authority on association websites and other online media strategies. Having served in key leadership roles for several associations, Sherry's particular expertise and unique background led her in 2005 to found .orgSource.

Sherry understands the distinct requirements and nuances of associations and works with them to define, budget for and implement a successful technology strategy. She has helped dozens of organizations improve their Web site presence and overall performance; has assessed staff resources; enhanced search engine optimization; and expanded their reach through the web and social media. National association clients include: the American Bar Association, American Dietetic Association, American Society of Anesthesiology among others.

Sherry is an active participant in the association community as a knowledge expert and maintains strong relationships with the association vendor community as well. She frequently writes and speaks for the Association Forum, the American Society of Association Executives and Digital Now. She is also a contributor of The Social Institute (www.socialinstitute.org).


Cynthia Cynthia Dorko, Consulting Partner

Cynthia offers our clients the benefit of her strong general management background and over 20 years broad-based experience in strategic business operations, customer response and project management. As a results-oriented Senior Business/Operations Manager at Motorola and Southwestern Bell, Cynthia utilized her strong grasp of modern human resource management, financial, marketing and process improvement techniques to manage large teams and large budgets against challenging deadlines. Cynthia has successfully directed start-up and transitional companies and continues to provide strategic and operational project management support for our clients.

Fred is an experienced association professional positioned to help organizations advance their mission and goals by strategically looking at the big picture, optimizing operational efficiencies, and maximizing the return on investments of projects, products, and services.  Fred joins us after spending 10 years at one of the largest voluntary professional associations in the world - the American Bar Association. From this diverse and dynamic environment he brings strong integrated marketing and communications skills.

Fred has experience with developing and launching online communities, job boards, email marketing and developing social media strategies. He has experience with a variety of technologies from enterprise content management systems to association management systems to SAAS solutions.  He has a unique ability to bridge the gap between business users and technology staff and is well positioned to assist organizations to use technology to solve their business needs.


DougDoug Klegon, Consulting Partner

With more than 25 years of guiding marketing and communications efforts, Doug draws upon extensive experience across a broad range of marketing elements to assist organizations in market plan development, brand positioning, integrated market communications strategies, communication audits, revenue generation and overall strategic and business planning. His prior experience includes leading marketing and communications for Henry Ford Health System and the Detroit Medical Center as well as the American College of Healthcare Executives. In all his projects Doug demonstrates a strong focus on understanding, developing and synthesizing marketing/communication strategies and then translating those strategies into concrete tactics. He also maintains an active role with the Association Forum of Chicagoland, both as an author for Forum magazine and as a volunteer working with the Shared Interest Groups.


Michael Knight, Consulting Partner

Michael has worked for associations for 10 years and brings extensive IT knowledge to .orgSource's clients. Michael was the IT manager for a large IT audit association, where he was responsible for all facets of the IT infrastructure. Michael has broad knowledge and technical expertise in databases, network infrastructure/services and security.

As a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Michael is authorized to teach courses on many subjects, including SQL servers, Windows servers, system administration and network infrastructure.

Michael also holds several certifications, including:

 Kevin Ordonez, Consulting Partner

Kevin G. Ordonez is a proven leader in serving member-based organizations across the country with 20 years of experience working with associations of all sizes and specialties to identify and respond to their technology needs.

Kevin spent more than a decade as a co-founder and executive vice president of Avectra Inc., the leading provider of on-demand membership management software solutions. Kevin's experience at Avectra put him at the helm of the sales, marketing, business development and Chicago professional services departments. In addition, he was a member of the management team that secured a $26.5 million outside investment in the company in 2007.

Prior to Avectra, Kevin was a co-founder, along with Rob Miller, of ABLAZE Business Systems, Inc. In 1999, it merged with a similar company to become Avectra. Kevin worked as information systems manager for the National Association of Broadcasters, and as a consultant for Information Management Consultants.

Beyond his work experience, Kevin frequently serves as a leader, speaker and author, lending his expertise to a variety of organizations. He recently served on the board of directors for the Association Forum of Chicagoland and is also a member of ASAE, NTEN, NYSAE, MDSAE, VSAE and FLSAE.


Jen SwansonJen Swanson, Content Strategist

Jen is an experienced communications professional offering our clients expertise in content and design for both digital and print communications. She has more than 13 years of association experience working on all phases of website, digital communication and print publication projects. Her most recent position was the Director of Communications and Operations for the American Student Dental Association, where she managed the website, print publications and social media efforts. Prior to that position, she worked as a Publications Designer for the Universities Space Research Association, helping write, edit and design multi-million dollar proposals, in addition to editing and designing the association's website.

Jen has a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida, and is currently enrolled in the Master's program of New Media Studies at DePaul University.


ShawnShawn Tolitano, Consulting Partner

Shawn is an experienced website consultant offering our clients expertise in content management and development, e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, social media campaigns, e-learning and Web project management. She has more than 11 years of experience leading Internet projects for top health care associations, including the College of American Pathologists, Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Shawn has worked on multiple website redesign projects with complex technology infrastructures and is an expert on helping clients bridge the gap between business and technical needs.


bethBeth Welch, Consulting Partner

Beth brings our clients invaluable expertise in the development of eLearning resources and enduring products.

With 5+ years of association management experience and 7+ years as an independent eLearning project developer, Beth has been involved in content development from the association, client, and vendor perspectives. Her approaches meet the needs of not-for-profit clients, their members and customers, and their funding agencies.

Bringing her unique association background to the content production side of eLearning, Beth has successfully developed and deployed dozens of eLearning and blended enduring products and content capture projects across varied media for clients such as National Jewish Medical & Research Center, The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, The Salvation Army, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.

Beth brings a thorough understanding of the complete cycle of content development to our clients, from initial budgeting through planning, implementation, and launch, and is experienced in creating marketing, sales, and distribution strategies for online educational content.
